About Hamish

Environmental Architecture Specialist

Let’s design something remarkable together, built for living.

I enjoy walking clients through the architectural journey. I combine a thoughtful creative approach to design with the desire to develop inventive, innovative spaces that showcase individuality and illustrate a high level of environmental responsibility. With more than 19 years experience in design and construction, including running my own architectural practice since 2005, I have helped create numerous high-quality buildings with depth and integrity.

One functional element I feel we need more of in New Zealand architecture is comfort, without which I believe a beautiful design cannot be fully achieved. My strong interest and understanding of a range of renewable systems, the products available here and abroad and the functional outcomes needed to actually deliver small and large-scale green, low-energy buildings applies to projects of all budgets.
